My Philosophy

The make-up of every child is uniquely different: how they talk, how they dress, how they see the world and how they learn. It is our job, as teachers, to be flexible, adaptable, positive and encouraging to our students as they grow to discover their learning language and even their own identity as a person. Here at Studious, my focus is holistic: provide individualized and student-centered care that empowers your child to gain confidence in not only their academics, but in their social and emotional health too.

Individual or Group Sessions

Customized lessons to fit the needs of your child. I offer sessions covering math, science, social studies, reading, or writing. I know how to get my students to excel through personalized attention, patience, a lot of practice, and hard work. I make learning fun through a variety of engaging and outside-the-box activities

Homeschool Sessions

Homeschooling students leads to a rich, comforting, and confidence building environment. Students are given the time and space to learn and grow at their own pace. Sessions are available to advise and guide home school teachers on how to best implement curriculum and disseminate information, as well to supplement teaching in subject areas.

Enrichment Sessions

Is your child bored in class due to a slower pace, or easily completing in class work and home work? Enrichment is a way for students to be engaged with their work, push through challenges, and progress their intellectual abilities.

Test Prep & Note Taking Skills

As an experienced Tutor, I can identify students’ problem areas and work with them in positive, constructive ways to achieve success. I design my lessons according to my students’ needs, with an emphasis on confidence-boosting activities. This is a great option for students doing their GCSE's, SAT's, ACT's, or any large assessment.

Group tutoring and homeschooling sessions are priced depending on the number of students attending.

$10 travel fee applied to families located outside of the Seven Mile Beach Corridor (past Grand Harbour heading east, and past the Yacht Club heading west)

What are your teaching qualifications?

I have a clear multiple subject elementary teaching credential from the state of California. This means I am licensed in all core subjects (math, science, social studies, reading, writing) for Kindergarten to Grade 5.

In addition, I am currently earning my Master of Education M.Ed with an emphasis in Learning Design and Technology.

How do you charge for your teaching services?

Where do you hold your teaching sessions?

Teaching sessions are held at the home of the client.

How do I pay for services?

Payment is accepted through cash and bank transfer.

Bank account information will be provided via invoice of services.

Are you vaccinated?

Yes, I am. I have received two doses of the Pfizer vaccine, along with a booster shot.

Are group sessions available?

Yes, they are available upon request.
